Parenting with Heart & Soul

If you are implementing Positive Discipline as a newcomer or as a veteran, as a parent or as a teacher, sometimes we find that it is easier said than done! Positive Discipline Ning is a social networking site. It offers a place where you can connect with other people who have read a Positive Discipline book or attended a Positive Discipline workshop and are trying to apply it in their personal or professional lives.

Positive Discipline Ning gives you a chance to share challenges -- and successes, to raise questions, and get new ideas. Currently, there are 38 groups and over 1200 members, including people from over 48 countries! You can sign up for groups based on the age of your children, areas of professional or personal interest, geographical region – or you can create an interest group yourself if you don’t find exactly what you are looking for! Above all, we think you’ll find Positive Discipline Ning a place where you’ll find encouragement, solutions, and connection with those who are on this wonderful Positive Discipline journey.

Captivated by what you have read? Delighted by introductory classes and eager to learn more? Wanting to be able to share all you’ve learned with others? Or wanting to do what you do even better?

The Positive Discipline Association specializes in advance training in Positive Discipline. It hosts workshops and offers many opportunities for those who want PD to be a part -- or the focus -- of their professional life. There are many benefits for members – an advanced certification program, a very rich members-only list serve, a conference and mentoring program, and support and building your capacity to facilitate the PD way.
